My journey with healing began in 2007 when I was asked out of interest by a healer to place my hands on her back, and surprisingly was told I had a gift to heal and should go and practice on dogs, and children with coughs and colds.

Some years passed by, and after my first impromptu healing session with a young Dachshund, I was surprised to discover not only an extremely strong force emanating from my hands, but also that I had an ability to receive information and feelings about whoever/whatever I was touching/transferring energy to.

From that day forward I used the same technique of holding my hands above or on friends and family, and found I could relieve their headaches, pains and cold symptoms.

One evening, while randomly (although, nothing is ever random) scrolling through Facebook, a post by a Reiki teacher in London caught my eye and piqued my interest, something about him and the idea of Reiki felt like the right next step, and led to me training with him for my Level 1 and 2 Usui Reiki certifications.

After some years of focussing my healing on people, as a huge animal lover, my attention began to shift towards animals, and animal healing felt like the most natural progression.

I found the perfect place to study – Healing Animals Organisation in Sussex run by Elizabeth Whiter.
