Testimonials

Some of the successes my clients have had following sessions include; improved walking, cleared up skin conditions, limps gone, improved mobility through the back, decreased anxiousness on a walk, accelerated healing after surgery, a happier animal after changes were made to their environment, a change in worrying behaviour, increased comfort during medical procedures, and visible decrease in stress after communication from animal was fed-back to guardian and acted on.  There have also been occasions when information/concerns I have discovered during sessions were later independently verified by a vet.

“We met Kerina in 2019 as we were recommended by a friend.  Our beautiful golden retriever Poppy had been diagnosed with a nose tumour and we were willing to do everything in our power to help her.  We decided to go with radiotherapy treatment and asked Kerina for weekly healing sessionsShe was amazing with our beautiful girl and so quickly we could see that Poppy was getting great comfort and relaxation from Kerina.  Over time Poppy improved and we managed to get more time (which we cherished) with our girl.  I cannot recommend Kerina enough.  She has a very special gift with all animals and it’s wonderful to see the animals taking so much comfort from her work.” Emma S

“My Rottweiler Rocky is 12, suffering with arthritis, and has been walking very slowly with his head downI noticed after the reiki session that he held his head up high and was walking with a spring in his step.  He had a smile and was definitely able to walk faster.  I noticed it wasn’t about the time, but what my Rocky needed.  She completely does this out of love and not just money.” Tony M

“In 2018, I was introduced to Kerina via a mutual acquaintance.  My Russian Blue Gaia was at times a mystery, and with Kerina’s insights, knowledge, and healings, we’ve been able to maintain a healthy and happy girl.  To date, we’ve had five consultations over the years.  In particular, recently we needed a rather spontaneous session, as we’d just returned from the vets for a nail trim and Gaia was stressed, anxious, and very nervous.

Thanks to Kerina, we were able to pinpoint what the cause of her stress was and remedy the situation quickly.  I’ve enjoyed seeing Kerina hone her skills and give more insightful information after a consultation so that I have a record of what transpired during the session.  Personally, I would recommend Kerina wholeheartedly to anyone whose pet or animal is presenting with anything that is a mystery and which they would like to resolve.

Kerina is open, honest and thoughtful, and provides a complimentary service to your typical animal care.  We will continue to consult with Kerina because then I’ll know that I’ve covered all the bases for the health and well-being of Gaia.”  Sandy W and Gaia

“Kerina worked on one of our newborn spring lambs who was struggling to breathe and displaying signs and symptoms of pneumonia.  His breathing was really quite bad and as such a new newborn, things weren’t looking good for him.  As soon as Kerina began working on him, he visibly relaxed, closing his eyes and becoming much calmer.  Kerina happened to be staying with her sister (my neighbour) and worked on the lamb on multiple occasions during the week she was here.  I’m very pleased to say (and also rather surprised as admittedly I was initially something of a sceptic) that despite the initial bleak prognosis, he pulled through and was able to rejoin his friends.” Norma F

“Lizzie definitely remembered her last massage treatment and relished every moment.  She is much calmer after her first treatment, but today my daughter rode her and she was definitely less anxious, as she’d had a fright with previous owners, I think the treatment is just gaining her trust all the better.” Claire P

“After losing our two golden retriever girls, we finally decided to start again and brought Bruce into our lives.  Unexpectedly when we picked him up from the breeder after our holiday, we ended up bringing Rio home as well.  Rio had been attacked by three dogs and had a few issues which we had to work through.  I called Kerina and asked her to visit and give both dogs a massage.  This was done over a period of 4 weeks and really helped the boys relax into their new environment.  They responded very well, and thoroughly enjoyed the massage.  I could see a change in Rio’s behaviour during the weeks that followed.  I also asked Kerina to perform a distant reiki session on Rio and was amazed with the results.  The feedback from Kerina was so valuable but more importantly, I could see an obvious change in Rio’s behaviour.  He seemed calmer and more confident in his own skin.  I will most definitely ask for more sessions in the future as and when needed.” Emma S

“Our 15-year-old Maltese terrier was displaying signs of being in pain or at least very distressed. He was constantly waking us up throughout the night to be let outside where he would kind of cower as if in very bad pain.  We assumed some kind of physical ailment as he had in recent months fallen down the stairs on two occasions.  However, we did discover that the disruptions in the night were far fewer when my partner struggles to sleep, and is generally restless throughout the night slept in another room.  We understandingly attributed our dog’s discomfort to being stressed out in the night by my partner, so soon dismissed the option of it being a physical issue.  However, the disturbances did persist and he still seemed distressed, assuming it wasn’t anything physical we thought we would try something completely different so contacted Kerina.  Kerina was so wonderful to work with and gave us a great deal of practical advice, aside from her obvious gifts and talents she has an excellent knowledge of dog care/nutrition.  She told us that she felt the problem was related to his brain and electric firing or something along those lines.  With this new information we took our boy to the vets who quickly confirmed, based on his behaviour, that the issue was most likely dementia, due to his age. His condition/quality of life improved drastically when the vet started treating him for this.  The issue was with his brain just as Kerina had advised us. We couldn’t recommend Kerina more highly.  If you are worried about your pet and have doubts as to the validity of this kind of thing, based on our experience I would urge you for your pet’s health and happiness to book a session with Kerina.  We are so happy that we did.” Greg R

“We consulted Kerina about my bearded dragon who just seemed to be under the weather, but nothing we could feasibly take him to the vet for.  She gave us so much valuable information as well as telling us a couple of truly astonishing things.  Bearded dragons are supposed to eat greens every day which can be a challenge to get them to do.  After persisting for a long time for ultimately just throwing away a lot of food we stopped bothering with putting the food dish in there – he just never ate it.  So, you can imagine how stunned we were when Kerina told us that he asked where the food dish has gone.  We hadn’t told her anything about him, she couldn’t have known this.  We reintroduced the food dish and very slowly he finally started to eat fresh produce.

Secondly, for a period of time at bedtime we would wrap him up in his blanket open the drawer next to our bed and put him in there next to us for the night, kind of like a little cradle.  We were utterly astonished when Kerina told us that he says he liked it when he slept in the draw.  She gave us lots of information regarding his environment (vivarium), namely that he requested a very dark place to hide in.  This made a lot of sense as when he came out of his enclosure he would always head for dark little nooks and stay there for hoursThe astonishing accuracy of Kerina’s consultation leant so much credence to her abilities/work.  And we felt such a sense of relief in the knowledge that we were able to really get an understanding of what was going on with our dragon, and it’s very reassuring to know we have such an incredible resource available to us should we need it in the future.  Kerina herself has a lovely demeanour, is warm and friendly and relatable while being extremely professional and respectful. We can’t recommend her more highly.” Jane R

“Dolly thoroughly enjoyed her massage treatment and that’s the stillest she’s ever been as she’s a typical impatient baby girl.  She has been snoozing for the rest of the afternoon.” Claire P

My 9-year-old Indian ring neck was in a terrible state; he had begun plucking his feathers – any bird owners’ worst nightmare.  His entire back was completely bald, as was underneath his wings, his legs and his front were badly plucked too.  He was such a beautiful bird and it was the most distressing and heartbreaking thing to see him in this state. It means the bird is extremely distressed and unhappy.  I took him to a number of vets who cited that among other concerns he had a dangerously low white blood cell count, liver issues and high cholesterol.  All the vets could speculate was that he was somehow in an environment whereby he was exposed to constant stress.  My birds are free flighted in a very large space, I give them everything I possibly can in order for them to live healthy and enriched lives and to hear that he was this stressed and distressed was absolutely heartbreaking.  In my desperation I thought I’d try something completely different and booked a session with Kerina.  Among my flock of five at that time were a bonded pair of cockatiels.  There were very much in love and let’s say were very big on public displays of affection, often mating very loudly among the other birds.  Two others of flock were very close, one never leaving the other’s side and my Ringneck was the loner of the group, Kerina told me that he was very jealous and felt unloved and felt he had no outlet for his affection.  I took this information on board but there really wasn’t a great deal I could do besides split everyone up and cage them, which I considered the greater of the two evils. A while later when his condition had seemed to deteriorate further, I made an appointment with the only avian vet available that day. This was a different vet at a different practice. The first thing this vet asked after having a good look at him was if he was bonded to another bird, I replied he wasn’t, he then asked if he was around any birds who were bonded and sexually active. Obviously, this was the case and I was told the issues were believed to be hormonal. So essentially what Kerina had said about him being jealous of the other birds was exactly what was causing these issues. This vet stared him on a new course of treatment and in the space of three months virtually all his feathers had grown back and he is now a much happier bird, I can’t adequately convey the relief and happiness and this was all after being treated for the issue that Kerina informed me of in the first place. She is an incredibly lovely and astonishingly gifted lady.” Jane R
